Residents protest poor sanitation
GURGAON: Residents of Tulip Orange, a new township on Sohna Road, are up in arms against the stagnation of sewage water in front of their society.
They said the area has become an open dumping ground and poses a grave threat to their health.
The society's RWA said the sewage treatment plant has been inoperative for three months and the developer dumps untreated water in a vacant plot nearby.

Alka Ray, a resident here, said, "Everyday, I see two to three tankers dump sewage water here. Many villagers also come here in the morning for nature's call."
The developer, however, denied the claims. "The vacant plot is situated at some distance. I don't think residents should have any issue. But, we have given a time frame to the residents to discharge the stagnant water," said Pawan Jaju from Tulip Infratech.
