DA Maya Huffish Trademark delights

DA Maya Huffish Trademark, a Standard Poodle owned by V. Vijay Prabhakaran, swept the field in the KCI-FCI Dog Shows, conducted by the Madras Canine Club, at YMCA, Nandanam here on Sunday.

C.V. Sudarsan, president, Madras Canine Club, said the show was a grand success. “For the first time in the history of the Madras Canine Club, we had 10 international judges. As many as 680 dogs from 58 breeds took part,” he added.

The Governor of Tamil Nadu, K. Rosaiah, gave away the prizes. N. Ram, chairman, Kasturi & Sons Limited, presided as the show chairman.

KFI-FCI 18th Championship Dog Show (Judge: Tamas Jakkel):Best in show: Standard Poodle, DA Maya Huffish Trademark, V. Vijay Prabhakaran; Second best: German Shepherd, CH Atensberg Leema, K.E. Ramesh; Third best: Dachshund Standard, Ragvi’s Call Me Classy, G. Vijayaragavan; Fourth best: Siberian Huskey, CH Foxfire Snap Dragon, V. Vijay Prabhakaran; Best in show bred in India: Dachshund Standard, Ragvi’s Call Me Classy, G. Vijayaragavan; Best puppy: Dobermann, Sun Hock’s Reena, M.H. Manjunath.

Raghuraman; Best in show bred in India: German Shepherd, Vesper Vom Wolfenhaus, Vishwas Raj; Best puppy: Siberian Huskey, The Wones New Boy On Town, V. Vijay Prabhakaran.
