Israelites from Egypt to Israel.

Mount Nebo is one of the important places for Christian pilgrimage as it was from here that God revealed the Promised Land to Moses which he could see, but was not allowed to enter.Moses died and was buried in the valley of Beth-peor but his tomb remains unknown. Jordan has Petra — one of the wonders of the world — which also has biblical references. It is often referred as Sela and Jotkheel in 2 Kings 14:7. Moses and Israelites passed through Petra in Edom.It was here that Moses struck the rock and brought forth water, instead of speaking to it as God commanded,as mentioned in numbers 20:10-11.Aaron,the brother of Moses died in Jordan and was buried in Petra at Mount Hor.
