Bijnor blast suspects are Khandwa jail break fugitives: Madhya Pradesh police

Madhya Pradesh police has on Sunday confirmed that five people who escaped after a mystery blast at house in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor area were none other than the Khandwa jailbreak fugitives Aizazuddin alias Aizaz Mohammed Azizuddin, Zakir Hussain alias Sadiq Badrul Hussain, Mehboob alias Guddu Ismail Khan, Aslam Ayub Khan and Amzad Ramzan Khan.

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh police has on Sunday confirmed that five people who escaped after a mystery blast at house in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor area were none other than the Khandwa jailbreak fugitives Aizazuddin alias Aizaz Mohammed Azizuddin, ZakirHussain alias SadiqBadrulHussain, Mehboob alias Guddu Ismail Khan, AslamAyub Khan and AmzadRamzan Khan.
The five had escaped had escaped from Khandwa jail on October 1, 2013 by scaling a 16-foot high wall along with MP chief of student Islamic movement of India (SIMI) Abu Faizal alias Doctor.
Faizal, who is suspect terror strikes at Gujarat, was arrested two months later. Others kept dodging the police. This is the second time that these remainders have given a slip. Last time they had escaped from Oddisa leaving a team of MPATS waiting outside their rented house.
"Besides the CCTV footage, the identity cards and some other evidences recovered from the spot clearly indicated that they were the wanted-five. We are in constant touch with our UP counter parts and this time we are hopeful of their arrests," said a top Madhya Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) wishing anonymity. And, the one who sustained burns in the blast has been identified as Mehboob, said the officer adding a team has been dispatched to UP for further investigation.
Director General of police (DGP) Nandan Kumar Dubey said the available information was indicating that those who escaped after Bijnor blast accused could be remainders of Khandwa jailbreak case. "Our teams are working on it. Everything would be very clear soon," Dubey told TOI.
