Etihad Airways to offer 1,000 jobs for Emiratis by 2017


(MENAFN) Revenue accounting centre of excellence shows that Etihad Airways plans to create job opportunities for more than 1,000 Emiratis over the next three years through a new cost-saving, Arabian Business reported.

The center will provide competitive priced services which will bring cost savings and operational efficiencies to airline, including Etihad Airways. It will also create long-term economic value for the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

More than 500 Emiratis to be hired during the project's first year of operation. Total employee numbers are expected to hit more than 800 by the end of 2016, and will be more than 1,000 by the end of 2017.

The president and chief executive of the company said that the revenue accounting is an expensive and time consuming aspect of the global airline business.
