MUMBAI: As the Wankhede Stadium hosted Sachin Tendulkar's farewell Test out of turn last year, Mumbai will not stage a single game of the West Indies' forthcoming tour to India comprising five ODIs, three Tests and one T20.
However, fans of Kieron Pollard and Chris Gayle will be able to see the two stars as Mumbai will host the Caribbean side for a couple of warm-up ties ahead of the ODI series which begins in Kochi on October 8.

"The West Indies will play the India U-19 team at CCI on October 3, and then an India U-23 side at the Wankhede Stadium will on October 5," BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel told TOI on Saturday.
"We want our youngsters to get valuable exposure against the Windies," he added. "There will be no tickets for the game at CCI. We want fans to come and enjoy the match," said CCI president Sevanti Parekh. Meanwhile, the revised itinerary of the series saw a few changes with New Delhi hosting the second ODI on October 11 instead of the one-off T20, which will now be held at Cuttack on October 22.
Kolkata will now stage the fifth ODI on October 20, instead of the fourth on October 17. While Kochi will host the first ODI, the fourth and fifth games will be held at Vishakhapatnam and Dharamsala respectively.
The Windies will play a three-day game against the Board President's XI in Kanpur from October 25-27 ahead of the Test series, which will begin on October 30 at Hyderabad.
