Jay Doyle netted the winner as East Stirlingshire beat Clyde at Ochilview Park to lift themselves from the foot of the Scottish League Two table.
The first period was a cagey, goalless affair, although the visitors' Euan Smith tested goalkeeper Richard Barnard on several occasions.
Shire enjoyed significantly more possession as the game wore on.
And Doyle converted from close range to give Shire the lead with 11 minutes remaining.
