Simmering enmity between two groups of villagers claimed life of an old man in Bendo village under the Naini police station here on Saturday morning. An FIR was later lodged in this regard.
Naini station officer said that the attack was a fallout of an old enmity between two groups. “Several people from both groups are lodged in jail in connection with several cases. We have been monitoring both groups closely to avoid any such incident,” said the SO.
According to reports, Kashi Prasad Tiwari (75) of Bendo village was on way to Karchana along with his relative on his motorcycle.
