14 DAY TRIAL // Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the latest game based on the Lord of the Rings universe, has just received a brand new gameplay video that shows off the interaction between the main protagonist, Talion, and iconic character Gollum, not to mention a lot of other intense moments.
Shadow of Mordor promises to tell a separate story from the core Lord of the Rings plot, in which a regular human ranger named Talion gets Wraith-like abilities and must travel through Middle-earth and engage in all sorts of adventures.
The game features plenty of ambitious mechanics, such as the Nemesis one, through which players can choose whether to make friends or enemies of the people and creatures they meet along the way.
While the game is separate from the main story seen in the books or movies, this doesn't mean that it won't make references to it.
One key sequence involves Talion meeting Gollum, which fills in some of the space left open by the movie when the creature went to Mordor.

The new title debuts at the end of the month for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and in November for PS3 and Xbox 360.
