Garba songs are the soul of Gujarati films: Mona

Dhol beat and Dhollywood are inseparable, feel many in the Gujarati films industry. The industry, which has given many mellifluous and pulsating garba numbers through the years, is of the opinion that garba numbers form a quintessential part of Gujarati movies.
And Dhollywood hottie Mona Thiba too seconds the same. Talking about the importance of garba numbers in Gujarati movies, the Dhollywood diva says, "Garba songa are the soul of Gujarati films.And the industry has always taken pride in the garba numbers and the muscial hits that music composers have given through the years."
Mona too has, to her credit, many garba numbers choreographed in her movies. The famous Leeli Limdi song was picturised on Mona and the actress has fond memories of doing garba numbers in Gujarati movies. Adds Mona, "Garba symbolises the Gujarati culture and it will never go out of fashion. Garba number is always considered a classic."
