JAIPUR/ALWAR/UDAIPUR: Rain continues to lash several parts of the state as eastern and southern parts of the state received good rain on Friday.
Alwar, Bharatpur and Dholpur have witnessed incessant rains in the past 24 hours. Alwar has witnessed rain for the past 48 hours. Alwar's Rajgarh received 115 mm of rain. However, Alwar's Tapukra received 1 mm of rain, which is minimum in the district.

Since, it has been raining for the past 48 hours in Alwar, water bodies are receiving adequate water. Silised dam's water level has increased by 2 foot, Mangalsar dam's level increased by one foot, Mansarovar dam received 6 inches water and Jai Sagar dam's water level has increased by 5 inches.
Silised received 20.5 mm, Mangalsar 15, Mansarovar 16.2, Jai Sagar 20, Jaitpur 8.5, Samar Sarovar received 2.10 mm of rain.
It started raining in Dholpur early morning. The city witnessed drizzles and heavy rain throughout the day. Dholpur witnessed 25 mm of rain on Friday. The sky remained overcast and cool wind made the weather pleasant.
According to Met department, the weather was clear till 8 am but it started raining at around 10 am. Farmers are happy with the rain as it was not raining for the past few days in the district. Farmers claimed that the rains will be helpful for kharif crops and it will also benefit rabi crops. The rain has also resulted in increase in water level of dams in the district. At the same time rains have disrupted traffic as several parts of the district witnessed water logging.

According to irrigation department, Ram Sagar dam's water level has increased to 20.60 feet against the total capacity of 25.1 feet. The total capacity of Husainpur dam is 9.50 feet but it is filled up to 5 feet, Talabshashi dam's water level has increased up to 6.20 feet against the total capacity of 11 feet, RT dam is filled up to 4.20 feet, Umreh dam 3 feet, Urmila Sagar dam 6.34 feet and Parwati dam is filled up to 220.50 meter against the total capacity of 223.41 meters.
Bharatpur district witnessed 35.6 mm of rain. The maximum temperature in the district fell from 28 degrees to 22 degrees.
According to Met department light to moderate rain occurred at many places in Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions. Besides, weather remained mainly dry in Bikaner division. Heavy rainfall also occurred at isolated places in Jaipur, Bharatpur and Udaipur divisions. Churu received 31.2 mm of rainfall and Udaipur 3.1 mm of rain. The Met officials said that sky would remain partly cloudy in Jaipur with likely rain and thundershower. Rain and thundershowers would also occur at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
