Sushil Kumar Modi to repond to Nitish's letter

 Expressing surprise over the former chief minister Nitish Kumar asking him to prove Kumar's role in scams related to purchase of drugs and medical equipments, the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi today said that he will respond to Kumar's letter tomorrow.

Darbhanga: Expressing surprise over the former chief minister Nitish Kumar asking him to prove Kumar's role in scams related to purchase of drugs and medical equipments, the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi today said that he will respond to Kumar's letter tomorrow.

"I will respond tomorrow to Kumar's letter to me yesterday asking for documents to prove his role in scams related to purchase of drugs and medical equipment by a state government agency - Bihar Medical Services Infrastructure Corporation Limited (BMSICL) when the former chief minister held charge of the health department," Modi told reporters here.

Expressing surprise that Kumar has nudged him to furnish documents to prove his role in the drugs and medical equipments purchase scams by writing an open letter to him yesterday, the former deputy chief minister said that his erstwhile boss, who he said was the de facto chief minister even after demitting office, could have got all documents from from the state government itself.

"It's his party in power and he is the de facto chief minister.... He could have ordered the officials to provide him all documents related to drugs and medical equipments purchase scam," he said.
