A man can’t really consider himself a coffee-meister these days unless his Joe is also available in single-serve pods.

And so Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer said Friday that his Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffee line is now available in pods compatible with Keurig single-serve brewing machines.

Over the last few years, single-serve machines have become increasingly popular with folks who want to brew coffee at home (or at the office) one cup at a time.

“The problem with most single-serve cups is that they have a tendency to go stale quickly,” Kramer said in a statement. “My main goal was to create a cup with an improved design. I knew this would ensure that people would be tasting the same fresh and delicious flavors they have come to expect with my organic Rockin’ & Roastin’ products.”

The single-serve versions use recyclable cups and can be purchased online for $8.99 per 12-cup box of any varietal, or for $7.99 per 12-cup box when a customer purchases four or more boxes, plus shipping and handling, a statement from Rockin’ & Roastin’ said.

Roche Bros., the local supermarket chain, started selling Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ organic coffee in 12-ounce bags just over a year ago, a Globe story noted.

The coffee’s debut at Roche Bros. came after Kramer and his business partners signed a deal with Comfort Foods Inc. of North Andover to roast, package, and distribute a line of small-batch coffee under the Rockin’ & Roastin’ brand name.
