Sony CEO Kaz Hirai Takes Ice Bucket Challenge

"It's an honor for me to be able to be a part of this challenge."

Sony CEO Kaz Hirai, formerly the boss of the PlayStation group, has taken the Ice Bucket Challenge, an international campaign to raise money and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Hirai was nominated by Ken Kutaragi--popularly known as the "father" of PlayStation (watch his Ice Bucket Challenge video here). Hirai said he knew someone impacted by ALS, so, "it's an honor for me to be able to be a part of this challenge."

Most Ice Bucket Challenges end with the participant nominating other individuals to take part. But Hirai instead said he wants everyone to think about how to take care of people with ALS and ultimately find a cure for the disease.
