CM likely to open Rs. 500 crore wind mill farm in Kutch later this month

Gujarat Chief Minister is likely to open a farm of 45 wind mills which has been set up at a cost of Rs. 500 crore in Garda area of Abdasa taluka in Kutch district later this month.
These wind mills use new technology that can produce 53,000 unit power in a year which was 43000 in previous version. Each 80 meter high windmill has been installed at a cost of Rs. about 12 crore.
Suzlon has made 800 wind mills functional in Kutch area at various locations including Suthri, Sindhodi, Kaduli, Pingleshwar, Jakhau, Lathedi, Mohadi, Bhangodi, Bharavandh, Changdai, Shikarpur, Ambaliara, Samkhiali etc areas.
