Former lawyer and consultant Malek Ali began Malaysia’s first and only business news station, BFM Radio in 2008 as an “entrepreneurial experiment”.

Ali, who is a Harvard MBA wanted the station to be a be a catalyst for other entrepreneurs to start their business and create world-beaters, with Malaysia as a base.

Today, as the station is expanding, Ali says it is to be an ‘amplifier’ for intelligent and dedicated Malaysians out there.
