MUMBAI: The Mira-Bhayander deputy district president of the Shiv Sena was send to judicial custody by the Thane sessions court on Thursday.
Vasudevan Nambiar (61) was arrested for fathering a child with a 15-year-old student.
The girl studied in a school run by Nambiar. The girl delivered a baby boy on September 2 in a private hospital in Mira Road.
The hospital informed the Kashimira police. Nambiar, a bachelor, sexually abused the girl in a temple premises where he is the trustee.
Police found photographs of minor girl students from Nambiar's home. Pornographic CDs were also seized from his house.
