Kolkata, Sep 11 (ANI): BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh on Thursday questioned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her alleged relationship with Bangladesh's fundamentalist group Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic fundamentalist Students' Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). Singh said that a newspaper in Bangladesh has said that the money extracted by the Saradha chit fund scam went to the Jamaat-e-Islami and that the organization helped back the TMC with the Lok Sabha polls. Singh said that if Banerjee was innocent, she should have opposed and filed a defamation case against the newspaper in question and Bangladesh government.
