AHMEDABAD: A lone 11th minute goal from a free kick by Juhi helped last year's runner's up JGIS beat DPS Bopal 1-0 in a high profile contest and make it to the semifinal of The Times of India T20 School Soccer currently underway in Ahmedabad. This was DPS' best show so far in this tournament having lost in the first round last year.
Juhi, who is a defender, scored the all-important goal in the match from a spot kick from more than 35 yards after JGIS forward Komal was fouled by a DPS defender.
Juhi did no mistake in slotting the ball home in the high up on the net.
Juhu however later said that this was the worst ever performance and they would like to better it in the semifinal.
