You need at least 15-20 years to attain stardom : Naga Shaurya
Naga Shaurya, whose recent film Oohalu Gusagusalaade turned out to be a critical and commercial success, has come a long way. Born in Eluru, the actor spent several years in Vijayawada, before moving to Hyderabad to pursue his dream of acting in films. However, it wasnt an easy task to find a breakthrough in the industry. Prior to acting in films, I used to play tennis at the national level; however, the acting bug bit me.
Before I got my first break in films, I struggled for almost five years and every time I was on the verge of signing a film, something or the other would happen and I was back to square one, Naga Shaurya recalls.
Apparently, when he finally got a big offer, the actor didnt know he was selected for the film until he was called for the films official launch ceremony. Ask him if the success of his recent film has changed him as a person and pat comes the reply, I havent changed at all and I guess its not going to happen anytime in near future. I dont think Im a star. I feel, for a person to attain stardom it will take 15-20 years. If I prove myself in the course of time then I stand a chance to become one.
Meanwhile, the actor is awaiting the release of two of his upcoming films, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya and Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki and both the films are in the last leg of shooting.
