Spain's industrial production grew at a slower pace in July, data from the statistical office INE showed Wednesday.
Industrial output gained 1 percent year-on-year in July, slower than the 2.8 percent rise in June. But the growth rate exceeded the 0.4 percent forecast by economists. This was the third consecutive rise in production.
Meanwhile, calender-adjusted industrial production rose 0.8 percent, which was slightly faster than June's 0.7 percent growth.
On a monthly basis, industrial output remained flat after declining 0.9 percent in June.
