The Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan (VPKAS), Almora, Uttarakhand has recently announced recruitment for various vacant positions of technicians and other posts inviting interested and eligible candidates to fill up the positions on temporary basis.

VPKAS, Almora, Uttarakhand, India, is a premier institute of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, engaged in hill agricultural research for North-Western Himalayan region of India. It is a multi-crop and multi-disciplinary institute. It has so far released 130 varieties of 25 crops.

PAY SCALE

For Posts I to III - Selected candidates would be getting a salary of Rs 15600 to Rs 39100 per month.
For Post IV to VI - Selected candidates would be getting a salary of Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 per month.
For Post VII to IX - Selected candidates would be getting a salary of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 per month.

ELIGIBILITY

Age Limit: The maximum age of the applicant must be 35 years and minimum must be 18 years.

Educational Qualification: Interested candidates may refer to the official notification for postwise educational qualification.

Selection Procedure: A written test and an interview would be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
