Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher has been slowly recovering from a serious head injury suffered while skiing last December, and the 45-year-old has made enough progress that he will continuing his rehabilitation from home. Schumacher spent the first six months since the accident at a hospital in France before transferring to one closer to home in Switzerland, and Schumacher’s manager confirmed Tuesday that the driver has returned to his home in Geneva, but said that the German still has a “long and difficult road ahead.”
Schumacher spent 189 days in a medically induced coma, but came out of it in June.
