Christine Ebersole, Annie Golden, Ann Harada & More Set for SUNDANCE...SINGS! at Symphony Space, 9/29

On Monday, September 29 (8 pm), Symphony Space will present Sundance...Sings!, spotlighting songs from groundbreaking shows developed with support from the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, sung by a stellar cast. Christine Ebersole, Ann Harada, Annie Golden, Joshua Henry, and fourteen other notables will take the stage at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in selections from the Broadway oeuvre of Stew + Heidi Rodewald, Scott Frankel, Adam Guettel, Lisa Kron, Michael John LaChiusa, Bill Finn, Steven Lutvak, Duncan Sheik, and others.

Shows represented in Sundance...Sings! include Passing Strange, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Fun Home, Grey Gardens, Little Miss Sunshine, Light in the Piazza, and Spring Awakening, among others. A full cast and repertoire list (subject to change) appears below. Sundance...Sings! is directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, with musical direction by Chris Fenwick. Says Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, "The artists who created [these shows] did so with a beautifully belligerent spirit, hell bent to destroy the status quo.
