Three drown during immersion in Karimnagar

Three persons drowned in Manair river while participating in Ganesh idol immersion celebrations in Nagaram village of Jammikunta mandal on Monday night, police said. They identified the victims as Ch. Sanjeeva Rao (30), P. Sravan Rao (25) and M. Ravi (22).

The trio fell into water as they were trying to immerse the idols and their bodies surfaced on Tuesday morning. outskirts of Jammikunta mandal. Finance Minister Etala Rajender and TRS district president Eda Shankar Reddy consoled the bereaved family members.
