Right before the Maghrib prayers break, Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury asked MP Golam Dastagir Gazi to raise the star-marked question number 388.

Then she asked Barisal MP Pankoj to raise the question as Dastagir was absent.

Awami Swecchasebak League President Pankoj, a first-time MP, thanked the speaker and said he had wanted to raise the question for some time.

Then he continued speaking instead of raising the question.

Hasina was in her seat, looking at files. She suddenly turned her head and said something to the MP, who went silent.

The prime minister's voice that floated to the journalists' gallery was angered and contained the word 'dhyat', a Bengali expression for annoyance.

Pankoj immediately raised the star-marked question.

The parliament leader also summoned the MP before leaving for Maghrib prayers and talked to him for some time. Pankoj was seen standing silently.

Former chief whip Abdus Shahid, Chief Whip ASM Feroz and some other senior MPs were standing around them.

Hasina finished by telling Shahid to "teach these things".

After she left Pankoj also spoke to the other MPs.
