South Korean manufacturer Hyundai appears to be working on a facelifted version of the Neo Fluidic Elantra. The facelift of this premium sedan is expected to be launched in 2016, and we expect it to be revealed in India during the first half of 2016. Reportedly, the car has been observed undergoing test runs in different parts of the world.

The updated Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra will sport the new Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy, seen on the new breed of Hyundai cars such as the recent Elite i20. However, exact information about changes to the Elantra's current design are still not available.
At present, speculation suggests that the front profile could resemble that of the Genesis coupe. The front fascia is expected to get a hexagon-shaped chrome grille, along with leaner head-lamps and daytime running lights. Some other changes could include tweaked front and rear bumpers, along with new LED tail-lights.

Just like the exteriors, mechanical details on the Hyundai Elantra facelift have also not been revealed yet. However, we think that the Elantra facelift will continue to be powered by the same set of engines as the ones in the current models. Since the Elite i20 was bestowed with a modified suspension, Hyundai may also look to revise the new Elantra's suspension set up for improved handling and driving dynamics.
