INS Eksila wins Rajbhasha trophy

The technical establishment of the Eastern Naval Command INS Eksila won the Poorvi Nausena Kaman Rajbhasha Trophy for 2013-14. The establishment bagged the trophy for exhibiting excellence in implementation of the Official Language.

Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command Vice Admiral Satish Soni presented the trophy to Commanding Officer INS Eksila Commodore SN Alamanda at the half yearly Command Staff meeting held at Swarna Jyoti Conference Hall here on Monday .

Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam was adjudged as runner-up and the trophy was received by Rear Admiral AK Saxena. Instituted in 1994, the rolling trophy is awarded every year to a unit or establishment of the Command that does maximum work in Hindi in accordance with the directives relating to implementation of Official Language, Hindi.
