Talking about her Bollywood journey, she says, “I am happy with whatever I’ve done so far in Bollywood. I had moved to Norway for a while but I am back now. I am working on a couple of projects.” Mahek, who participated in the fifth season of Bigg Boss, she says, “It is unfair to say that Salman Khan was partial to me on the show. He is a great human being who has backed everyone equally. I feel that there are too many wrong notions about Indian reality shows. Talking about Bigg Boss, one notion is that it is a way of achieving fame and that everything inside the house is scripted. I find that ridiculous. Several celebrities like Navjot Singh Sidhu have taken part in the show. Was it for fame? People should give some due credit to the contestants. I agree that the fights between the contestants get highlighted more, but then isn’t that what the audiences are more curious about?”
