The Women Development Association of Liberia (WODAL) over the weekend donated several Ebola materials to the ELWA government quarantine center. The donated materials include tissues, toothpastes, and tooth brushes for the affected people quarantine in the center. Since the Ebola virus outbreak in March 2014; the government along with international partners is under pressure to control the spread of the virus by building centers to host affected people and to provide services for those centers. Many humanitarian organizations, non-government organization, philanthropic, have contributed and continue to make contribution to centers that have Ebola patients.
Speaking at the turning over ceremony, the Program Officer of WODAL Mrs. TouchePaasawa Johnson said, it is WODAL own will of identifying with patients quarantine in centers and to know that we are with them in their illness and appreciate the effort of doctors and nurses for risking their life to safe another life. She added that Ebola patients need to be well taken care of as to stop the spread of the virus in the country and encourage other philanthropic and patriot to assist in fight against this deadly disease.
