7 hurt in college bus, truck collision

INDORE: A bus of Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) collided with an Eicher truck on Monday morning. Truck driver was critically injured and half a dozen college students also sustained injuries.
Housing board police station in charge RS Naik said the bus was going to Viswasnagar area of Pithampur to pick students at 9 am. When the vehicle was taking a turn near Hotel Manal, its front portion collided with driver cabin of Eicher truck.So strong was the collision driver of the truck got trapped in the cabin and was critically injured. With the help of villagers and a JCB, driver Santosh was rescued and rushed to MY hospital in Indore.
Other injured were taken to Mhow civil hospital and given first aid there.
