Four persons lost their lives in fatal accidents that occurred in different areas of the city in the last 24 hours.

VADODARA: Four persons lost their lives in fatal accidents that occurred in different areas of the city in the last 24 hours. Arjun Gorasia, a resident of Vadsar road, filed a complaint of rash driving against Kamaluddin Ansari at Manjalpur police station. Ansari, who was driving a vehicle with a trailer, ran over Dulah Goriya when the latter was sleeping outside his hutment in Makarpura GIDC on Sunday morning.
Goriya (39), died after he sustained severe injuries.
Another complaint was registered at Makarpura police station early on Sunday morning against Kaushal Thakkar, a resident of Refinery Road, Gorwa. It said the accused who was riding a motorcycle ran over a man identified as Raju on Saturday night. The accident that happened on Tarsali Road caused the victim severe injuries which led to his death.
A collision between three vehicles on Darjipura overbridge led to the death of a man on Saturday night. Bipin Thakur registered a complaint against an unidentified truck driver. Thakur told the police that the accused's truck rammed into his parked truck on the over-bridge. Thakur's truck collided with a police jeep parked nearby. A truck cleaner working with Thakur died in the accident.
On Tarsali road, a truck collided with a two-wheeler that led to the death of a woman. According to the complaint registered at Makarpura police station by Jitendra Kumar (59), a truck collided with their two-wheeler when Kumar was crossing the old Jakat Naka near Tarsali on Sunday. The accident caused severe injuries to Kumar and killed his wife who was riding pillion.
