Break out the pinot. Things are about to get Ramotional.

The Real Housewives of New York has fired Aviva Drescher and demoted original cast member Ramona Singer, Us Weekly reports.

Look back on the unconventional life of Joan Rivers

According to a source, "Bravo is casting the show around Heather Thompson and Kristen Taekman and Carole Radziwill. [When] Ramona carried the show, that is why ratings plummeted, they think." The insider added that Singer's salary, nearly $600,000 per season, also played a role in her demotion. (Last season, original cast member LuAnn de Lesseps was also demoted allegedly due to salary issues.)

Singer, who recently announced the dissolution of her 22-year marriage, seemed fed up with the scrutiny that came with starring on the show during the reunion special, refusing to answer questions about her love life and becoming extremely combative with host Andy Cohen. She also had issues throughout the season with new cast member Taekman, and even busted open her lip at one point after throwing a glass in her face on a canoe trip.

The 17 most outrageous things Joan Rivers said (and wore)

Drescher's firing isn't a surprise to many since the hypochondriac housewife isolated herself from the other women this season by creating issues like "Bookgate," faking asthma and refusing to go on any trips with the rest of the cast.

Radziwill told BuzzFeed that Drescher's husband offered to get the reality star to Montana where the other women were filming, "in exchange for a guarantee that she'll be on next season." We guess they didn't take the bait, but at least we'll always have this.
