In what amounts to yet another smart move to make its presence at the market place, the Kudumbasree Mission is planning to go in for brand promotion with professional inputs.

The Mission has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible designers/companies to accomplish brand development and to evolve the right marketing mix to enhance visibility of its select products and services.

The corporate rebranding exercise would entail development, roll-out and management of a new Kudumbasree brand identity for all products and services of the Mission.

Launched by the State government in 1998 as a mission for wiping out absolute poverty from the State through concerted community action under the leadership of local self-governments, Kudumbasree is today one of the largest women-empowering projects in the world.

Built around three critical components — micro credit, entrepreneurship and empowerment — the Kudumbasree initiative has succeeded in addressing the basic needs of more than 40 lakh underprivileged women, thus providing them a more dignified life and a better future.

Rebranding exercise

The rebranding exercise is part of an image makeover so essential for success in the highly competitive market. Kudumbasree has put up what it expects from the potential applicants along with the timeline at www.kudumbashree.com. The EOIs, with details regarding the technical capability of the applicant, are to reach the Kudumbasree office at TRIDA Buildings, Chalakuzhy Road, Medical College P.O, Thiruvananthapuram, within 10 days.
