PM’s speech wins tender hearts

I would want you to become a good student and give importance to cleanliness,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while addressing the students of the country on Teacher's Day. I would want you to become a good student and give importance to cleanliness,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while addressing the students of the country on Teacher's Day. He interacted with schoolchildren through teleconferencing.
The PM's speech and interaction from Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi was broadcast live to school students via TV, radio and web.

‘Modi’s pathshala’ seemed to be a hit among students of the city. They were excited to listen to the speech by the Prime Minister and remained glued to radio and TV sets. Most of the schools had made arrangements like installing projectors and screens to enable the students to see the PM speaking live, primary schools had placed radio sets to hear the speech.
At Benajhabar primary school, 50 students and four teachers had gathered in one classroom to listen to the PM. At BNSD Sikhsha Niketan Inter College, students had gathered inside the auditorium with teachers 15 minutes before the start of the speech.
A schoolteacher said that attaching such importance to the day by the PM and interacting with the students is certainly a praiseworthy step.
Several issues on which the PM spoke touched the heart of the students and they clapped. The students cheered and expressed joy. The girl students were equally excited and had much to say about Narendra Modi's speech.
“I liked what he said about girl education, women safety and progress,” class IX student of BNSD Shiksha Niketan Mudita Mishra said.

When a student from Imphal asked Modi how can he become the PM of India, Modi advised him to start preparing for 2024 elections.
Vaishnavi Pathak, a student of class XII said that one thing she liked about Modi is that he is very inspiring. She said that had she got a chance she would have suggested him to revise reservation rules in colleges and universities. “I would have told the PM that reservations should be based on the financial status of a student and not on his/her caste,” she said.
Manisha Sanini, a class X student said that she was bowled by the way PM delivered speech. She said that a man who once sold tea is today on the country's highest post. “This is something special and motivates each one of us to be like him,” she added.
Madhur Dwivedi, a student of class VII, BNSD Sikhsha Niketan, said that all the students had to stay nearly three hours more still they were not feeling tired as the speech was magical and energetic.
Vanshika Bajpai, a student of class X said that she was impressed with the PM's speech as he is motivational speaker. What impressed her the most was the PM telling students to save electricity and water and that even doing this is service to the nation.
