Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is all set to attend the audio launch of "Ai".

Earlier, there were speculations going round the Internet regarding the "Terminator" star's presence for the audio launch, but now he has officially confirmed it via a video message.

Schwarzenegger congratulated the film's director, Shankar for bringing out a "spectacular" movie with lots of visual effects.

"Hello India! I want to congratulate a great director Shankar for directing 'Ai'. It's a spectacular movie with a lot of visual effects and I'll be coming over there to India to celebrate the grand launch of the audio of 'Ai'. It's going to be a spectacular event and I'm really looking forward to it. Chennai, Sep 15, I will be there for the great celebrations. Hasta la vista, baby," the "Commando" actor said.

"Ai", which is one of the most awaited films of the year has Vikram and Ami Jackson in the lead.

The film is directed by Shankar, who is known for his films like "Gentleman", "Kadhalam", "Indian", "Jeans", "Mudhalvan", "Nayak", "Boys", "Anniyan", "Veyil" and "Enthiran".

There were reports doing rounds about the presence of superstar Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Chiranjeevi and Mammootty for the launch event.

The audio launch is expected to be a grand event on 15 September at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The film's trailer is also expected to be released on the same day.

"Ai" is made with a whopping budget of ₹1.8 billion and Vikram will be spotted in three different looks in the film. Much was talked about the actor's commitment for the film. Vikram had apparently put on 120 kg for his one look and reduced more than half for another look.

The shooting of "Ai" went on for more than two years, and is predominantly shot in China. The other locations are Bangkok, Chennai, Jodhpur and Pollachi.

The film will also see Mollywood action hero Suresh Gopi in a negative role and actors Upen Patel and Santhanam will also be seen in pivotal roles.

"Ai" will released for this Diwali in more than 3,000 sceens worldwide with maximum screen releases in China too.

The film's graphics are done by a New Zealand based special effects company Weta Workshop, known for doing special effects for Peter Jackson's "The Lord of The Rings Trilogy".

The original score and the songs of this magnum opus film are done by A. R. Rahman. The song lyrics are penned by Kabilan and Madhan Karky, and are sung by Vijay Prakash, Sunitha Sarathy, Anirudh Ravichander and Neeti Mohan.

Notable composer and record producer Pravin Mani was also roped in for the post production work of the songs. He had earlier associated with Rahman for films like "Enthiran", "Mudhalvan" and "Alaipayuthey".

The music rights of "Ai" are attained by Sony Music India. "Ai' is produced by Venu Ravichandran under the banner of "Aascar Films".
