Tathagat scores 5, Malav scores 4 as Mt Carmel drub Experimental School 12-0

AHMEDABAD: Tathagat Priyadarshi scored five goals, Malav Sagar pumped in four while Ashay scored two and Boney netted one as Mt Carmel Gandhinagar posted a 12-0 win over hapless Experimental School in a completely one-sided encounter in The Times of India T20 School Soccer currently underway in Ahmedabad.
It was one of those matches where nothing went right for Experimental School right from the start. First, they took the field with just nine players due to some technical glitches.And by the time they could field all 11 players on the turf they were already two goals down with Tathagat scoring both goals.
There was no stopping the Gandhinagar boys as they toyed with the Experimental defence and went on to score everytime they got the ball. Carmel boys in fact snatched the ball from the Experimental boys everytime they wanted to stitch a move. The good thing about the Experimental boys was that they were not disheartened even after the initial goals and kept on playing sportingly.
