Coriander and tandoor are the governing factors of Kothmir ka chicken tikka

When the taste of kothmir or coriander or cilantro enters succulent pieces of chicken and then takes on the light smoky flavour of tandoor in tandoor, there comes out an absolutely relishing dish called Kothmir ka chicken tikka.

Ingredients

300 gms skinless, boneless chicken Thai - diced

50 gms fresh coriander

25 gms cheese

2 tblsp mustard

10 gms cashew nuts

1 tblsp fresh ginger

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp garam masala

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 green chilli

1 tablespoon salt

Method

For preparing kothmir ka chicken tikka, first grind ginger, garlic and green chillies. Grind coriander leaves. Mix together coriander mix, ginger paste, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and cheese. Marinate chicken with the mix and keep it over night. Cook the chicken in a tandoor till it turns golden and pour the same in mini tandoor. Serve with lemon wedges and onion rings, chat masala, with mint sauce.
