NAGPUR: Three city shuttlers Rohan Gurbani, Sudhanshu Bhure and
Ritika Thaker entered the third round in the Ch Ranbir Singh Memorial 28th
Sub-Junior National Badminton Championship at Rohtak (Haryana) on Thursday.
Second seed Rohan made the light work of Premveer Yadav of Madhya Pradesh, while eleventh seed Sudhanshu prevailed over Assam's
Hrishav Baruah.
In the U-15 girls singles, Ritika Thaker, seeded eighth, ousted Adya Bhargava of Haryana also in straight games.
In the third round, Rohan will clash with Ravi, while Sudhanshu will lock horns with Adya Bhargava.
In the U-13 doubles, fourth seeded pair of Rohan and Sudhanshu will take on Siddhartha Mishra and Balkeshwari Yadav on Friday.
Third seeds Ritika Thaker and
Simran Singhi will meet Avni Dhankar and Riya Dahiya in the U-15 girls doubles.
Earlier in the qualifying rounds, city's Malvika Bansod and Arya Anchalwar played well but could not qualify for the main draw.
