Striker Bineesh Balan, a former I-League and Federation Cup winner with Churchill Brothers, has joined Pune FC for 2014-15 after six seasons in Goa. He is the seventh player to be signed up by PFC coached by Karim Bencherifa.
He said: “I am extremely happy to be a part of Pune FC. I have won a lot with Churchill Brothers over the last six years and want to achieve the same success with PFC.”
The 25-year-old Thrissur player is a Tata Football Academy graduate. Bineesh joined in 2004 as a 15-year-old and passed out in 2008 after playing various state and for India U-15, U-19 when representing the Jamshedpur academy.
