M'scala Mor€     06     Exiles Ferretti     14

(3-3, 0-3, 1-4, 2-4)

After their first game win over M'scala, Exiles needed just this victory to make sure of retaining their Premier placing for naxt season. They did just that, and with a better scoreline than the first encounter. M'scala were in the match during the opening session, but then they faded away, allowing Exiles to dictate the play, and forge further ahead as the time passed. In goal M'scala had second string goalie, Joseph Cremona, in lieu of the regular Daniel Spiteri, and Karl Rizzo Naudi was included, although he didn't last the whole game.

The first session had Exiles taking an advantage three times, but each time M'scala came back, to tie the score. The last occasion had Exiles with an indifferent pass, losing possession, and Sergi Mora swam through to put past Ian Bugeja. In the next period Exiles exercised their control, and managed to add three more strikes, with no reply, this time, from their opponents. At the halfway mark Exiles were resting on a good 6-3 advantage.

After the break M'scala were expected to put in more of a tussle, but it was Exiles who  continued to increase their tally, with another brace of goals. M'scala finally managed to pierce the Exiles defence, with a Joe Cremona goal, but Exiles were still in command, and added on two more goals, as their lead went up to a 10-4 score, when the last quarter began. By that time M'scala had lost Jean Claude Cutajar on fouls, and soon after, as exiles had Julian Rizzo naudi to extend their advantage, his brother, Karl, at the other end, was red carded, as M'scala lost their second player. The game then petered out, as it was already won and lost. Exiles netted three more strikes to M'scala's two, with a penalty converted at each end.

Exiles' two foreigners, Gergely Katonas and Luka Sekulic, scored hat tricks, and so did M'scala's import, Sergi Mora.
