Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will have nine songs

Music composer and singer Himesh Reshammiya, who is currently enjoying the success of his latest release Kick, has confirmed the latest development of his next project. Reshammiya is busy working on the music of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sooraj Barjatya’s next, which also stars Salman Khan. The composer has confirmed that the film will have nine songs. “These nine songs will all be different from the other and shall belong to varied genres. Since both Salman and Sorraj ji have a good ear for music, they will be melodious and shall suit Salman Bhai‘s character in the film perfectly. I have been working on these compositions along with lyricist Irshad Kamil, who has some written some really beautiful lyrics with meaningful words that not only suit the situation, but also command a lot of audio value and personal identification for the listener,” stated Reshammiya, adding that he hopes that his compositions live up to the expectations that the audience has from him. The film, which also stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead, is slated to release in Diwali 2015.
