Salman Khan to record a single?

With most actors turning to playback in Bollywood and non – film singles, how can Salman Khan be far behind? The actor, who has earned compliments for his rendition of Jumme ki raat and Hangover among other tracks in his latest release, Kick, it is now reported that Khan is taking a keen interest in turning to singles. While it is not confirmed if the actor will actually record a single for a music label or launch it on his own, it would be interesting to see Khan sing a genre of his choice, without the restrictions of a script or plot, which usually happens in films. In case things go well, it is reported that Khan doesn’t mind launching an entire album.
