Shruti Haasan declines item song in father's film Vishwaroopam 2?
Shruti who will be seen in an item number in upcoming Bollywood film Tevar reportedly said that she does not want to do item numbers as she wants to land meatier roles with substance.
Actress Shruti Haasan, daughter of actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, has apparently given a thumbs down for an item number in her father's upcoming film 'Vishwaroopam 2', saying that she is apparently not interested in item numbers anymore.
Shruti who will be seen in an item number in upcoming Bollywood film Tevar reportedly said that she does not want to do item numbers as she wants to land meatier roles with substance.
However, it was also added that when Shruti was asked about the development, she denied the entire speculation saying that she and her father will definitely work together when the right opportunity comes.
Vishwaroopam 2 is the sequel to the 2013 blockbuster, Vishwaroopam.
The film also stars Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat.
Meanwhile, Shruti is currently busy shooting for Tamil film "Poojai" with Vishal Krishna.
