SURAT: A first of its kind jewellery using the forevermark diamonds, a brand owned by the De Beers Group of companies, was unveiled in collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra at the event that took place in Delhi.
Manish Malhotra undertook the designing of his first piece of chandelier earrings as part of the Forevermark promise campaign under the expertise of Anmol Jewellers.

Crafted with brilliant Forevermark teardrop diamonds, the exquisite pair of chandelier earrings exudes a majestic old-world charm, and imbibes a delicate western influence combined with a distinct traditional Indian look.
The piece took three months to come to fruition, and features 56 forevermark diamonds, set in 18 karat rose gold with a combined carat weight of 10.43 carats. A total of 2518 diamonds weighing in at 49.02 carats were set in 91.03 grams of 18k rose gold.
Manish Malhotra says, “A promise holds deep value in my heart. As an Indian designer it's my prerogative to explore our culture and heritage and my promise is to promote the rich traditions of art and design in our country. By associating with Forevermark, I want to mark another milestone in the world of design, keeping my promise alive.”
Sachin Jain, president, Forevermark India said, “Forevermark prides itself on working with experts who are as passionate about their area of expertise as we are about diamonds. Manish Malhotra is undoubtedly one of the world’s great fashion talents and we are honoured that he has chosen to work with Forevermark diamonds for his first fine jewellery piece. “

Less than one per cent of the world’s diamonds are eligible to become a Forevermark diamond and be inscribed with the Forevermark icon and individual identification number. Invisible to the naked eye, the inscription is made using bespoke technology from the De Beers group. It is also recorded on the personalised Forevermark identification card which comes with each and every Forevermark diamond.
The actual size of the inscription found on Forevermark diamonds is only 1/20th of a micron deep and can only be seen using a special Forevermark viewer which can be found in Authorised Forevermark Jewellers. It is confirmed by leading gemmological institutes that the Forevermark inscription does not affect the internal quality of a diamond in any way.
Authorised Forevermark Jewellers are able to provide a Forevermark Diamond Grading Report. It is an accurate blueprint of the qualities - cut, colour, clarity and caratage of each Forevermark diamond. The Forevermark Diamond Grading Report also features the individual identification number inscribed on the diamond and a specifically designed security hologram, providing reassurance that the Forevermark Diamond Grading Report is valid and genuine.
