Nikesha’s next is a horror thriller

After doing three Kannada films in quick succession – Narasimha, Dakota Picture and Varadanayaka — Nikesha Patel has been missing from Sandalwood. The actress, who will be seen in next week’s release Namaste Madam, has just signed up for another Kannada film. Called Alone, the film directed by JKS (of Shatru fame), is a horror thriller in which Nikesha will play the lead role. “The film is about a young girl, who comes to Mangalore alone on a holiday and stays in a house near the beach.
What transpires there forms the rest of the story,” says Nikesha, adding that her character will be quite glamorous. “If I am staying by the beach, obviously I have to be in appropriate attire, which will include shorts, bustiers, etc.,” she says. Shooting for the film, which will also star Kamna Jethmalani in a pivotal role, is expected to start by the end of the month.
