Yo Gabba Gabba Live!

Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Music is Awesome! is coming to Phoenix for two shows at Comerica Theatre at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25. DJ Lance Rock, Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex, Toodee, Leslie Hall, Biz Markie and more will be on hand to entertain the kids -- and let's face it, their parents -- on the fifth Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Tour.

A throwback to the golden age of "H.R. Pufnstuf," "Yo Gabba Gabba!" the kind of kids' show that appeals to inner children of all ages.

Scott Schultz, who created the show with Christian Jacobs of costumed ska-revivalists the Aquabats told the Republic the show was intended "for kids first and foremost. But older kids like it for a couple of reasons. We have bands that we're fans of, and celebrities and comedians that teens really pick up on. . . . On a deeper level, I think it's kind of a fun opportunity for teenagers to throw off that cool factor for a while and just be a kid again, go back to a simpler time in their lives. I see a sense of abandon. They love to dress up crazy and be a kid again."

Tickets are $25-$45, going on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at ticketmaster.com
