In order to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative reaches maximum students through TV, radio and the Internet on Teachers’ Day, the Directorate of Education (DoE) of the Delhi Government has issued a notification directing all private as well as government schools to organise a broadcast of the Prime Minister’s address through television or through the Internet from 3 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. on September 5.

The DoE has ordered the school heads to make available the requisite number of televisions, set-top box connections, projectors, amplifiers and power back-up equipments on hiring basis if the same are not available in at school.

The school authorities have also been directed to ensure that change in timings of the school on September 5 should be intimated to the parents and guardians well in advance, officials added.
