Fans mourn loss of K-pop idol

MANILA, Philippines – Fans of rising all-girl K-pop group Ladies’ Code took to social media to express their shock and grief on the death of the group member EunB in a car accident Wednesday.

Fans also expressed that EunB was too young to die. Other netizens wished strength for the Ladies’ Code fandom.

EunB was killed after the back wheel of their van came off and hit a protective wall in the vicinity of the Singal Intersection on the Yeongdong Expressway at 1:20 a.m.

The driver of the van was also killed.

Two other members of the group, Sojung and RiSe are in critical condition. Four others sustained minor injuries.

Polaris Entertainment, the agency of the said group, released an official statement on the death of their talent saying that they are offering their apologies to the fans and to those who were “greatly shocked”. The agency also calls fans of the girl group to “pray for the speedy recovery of the members.”

The group made their debut last year and recently marked their comeback with the song, “Kiss Kiss”.
