Capcom has confirmed that the second edition of their game "Resident Evil Revelations" is due for release in 2015. News of the sequel was announced at the Sony's pre-TGS PlayStation press conference in Japan earlier this week.
The new title will be release for systems including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, according to gamespot.com. An obvious omission from the list are all Nintendo devices and thus far there is no word on future available for those systems.
Capcom released several key details about the game during the presser including the fact that it is in development by the same team that created Resident Evil Revelations. They also note this game will not focus on heroes Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield but will rather follow new characters.
Official word of the game comes just a week after a screen shot and packaging photo leaked via Xbox.com.
